What is the storyline of Empires of the Undergrowth?
This RTS game features a documentary-style narration that follows the lives of ants and their struggles for survival. The narrator observes how they collect food and defend against external threats.
How is the gameplay of the Empires of the Undergrowth?
In this game, you take on the role of an ant, working alongside your fellow ants to expand and develop your nest. However, this task is no easy feat. The most important thing is to protect your Queen from any attacks or dangers.
It’s time to venture above the nest and explore for food to sustain the colony. You can search for seeds, fungus, nectar, or even other insects to feed your fellow ants. However, be aware that each food source presents unique strategic trade-offs and challenges.
Command a diverse roster of species, each with unique attack patterns, natural weaponry, and adaptable evolutionary paths, to conquer the threats of your current biome.
Night raids become crucial for securing vital food sources. As dawn breaks, however, the focus shifts to competition with rival colonies. Here, you’ll need to eliminate their queens while fortifying your own against attack.
