Most game development companies use early access to improve their video games and ensure there are few bugs. To achieve this, they rely on player feedback.
Selaco also entered early access to achieve these goals. Altered Orbit Studios stated that the goal for them is to remain on early access until they finish all three chapters of the game. This might take 12 – 18 months to complete.
Is the Early Access content enough to justify its price point?
To assure players, the studio has revealed that the current Early Access version of Selaco boasts thirty maps, eleven fully upgradable weapons with customization options, and over ten distinct enemy types. Additionally, Altered Orbit Studios confirms there are no plans to raise the price after Early Access ends.
The storyline of Selaco
The story takes place during a brutal invasion of Selaco, the underground facility housing the only surviving human refugees after the Earth’s destruction. You take control of Dawn, a security captain who recently earned a promotion. Assigned to delve deep into the shadowy history of Selaco, her investigation is abruptly cut short when the facility is attacked and destroyed.
About the voice actors and soundtrack
Selaco boasts a complete, original soundtrack crafted by a veteran musician with a rich history in game audio. Unfortunately, there is no more information about the track yet. Information about these aspects is often revealed closer to the full release.
It’s good to know that the voice actor for Dawn is Melissa Medina. As previously mentioned, more information about the other voice actors will be revealed at a later date.
