What follows is a moment of sheer absurdity, as James expresses disbelief that everything he had experienced was merely a game controlled by a dog. As the credits roll, we see images of the Shiba Inu overseeing the events of the game, accompanied by a new theme song featuring dog barks as part of the melody.

Then, in a New Game Plus, players can find the Dog Key in a doghouse near Rosewater Park in West South Vale.
